Building a SaaS tool to quickly analyse internal staff survey open ends

Analysing viewers’ conversations to inform future marketing initiatives for the UK’s longest running commercial network.

Understanding needs

Our client runs a staff engagement survey each quarter on a sample of their 100,000+ workforce. Before approaching STRAT7, they were manually coding the open ends and getting back basic Generative AI summaries.

Connecting data

The task was to build a self-serve tool that could help refine an initial list of codes (provided by the user) and size these codes – taking advantage of our AI toolkit and dashboard capabilities.

Driving change

Working closely with Insight Leads and the client’s IT division, we successfully built an AI powered tool, saving around 50 hours of resource each quarter and democratising the data beyond the core Insight division.
