A multinational cinema required optimised food & drink services to their customers – to deliver more tailored and relevant products and offers to ultimately impact retail sales.

Connecting data

The analysis was performed on consumer data at ‘basket level’. Containing a combination of food, beverage and film choice.

The data provided insight of the ‘party’ composition through ticket purchase details, venue format, and day/time. We added meta data to form the final dataset.

Driving change

The analysis delivered clear direction to enhance the customer experience at the venue, including combinations of food and drink that were popular for different types of cinema goer and at relevant times.

Optimising products has meant the client has shifted to a data driven approach increasing profitability.
